Blessed to be a blessing

Today I turned 49.

7x7, as my brother nicely remarked. And if you know God, then you know that 7 is a sacred number.

My brother's remark also brought me, in a strange way, back to the subject I have been working on for the past few months: sowing, reaping, living in abundance, being blessed, and being a blessing to those around you.

And as my thoughts became liquid gold, I suddenly realized that I myself am a blessing. It dawned on me like a flash of light.

I AM A BLESSING!

I am blessed, but I am also a blessing.

And to clarify what a blessing is. A blessing is a value that multiplies the moment it is used or distributed.

God thus blesses his creation, so that his creatures can multiply and be a blessing to the rest of his creation.

And the moment you realize that you are of value, to the deepest part of your being, that you KNOW that you are a blessing, then you can share even more of that blessing. Then you start sowing CONSCIOUSLY and MORE.

He who sows little will reap little.

But whoever sows much will reap much.

2 Corinthians 9:6

I realized that I have always been a blessing, always a seed to be sown. I am of great value to those around me in many character traits, gifts, and talents. And I am of value for who I am, even without doing anything.

But now that this has sunk deep into my soul, my being becomes even more powerful.

I no longer have to doubt or be afraid of failing.

When I realized that I myself was a blessing, a seed to sow, I also thought to myself: "Why am I only realizing this now? Why doesn't everyone know that he or she is of value?"

I realized that we need to start teaching our children how valuable they are when they are little, through encouragement and compliments.

And I also realized that we can all encourage and support each other much, much more, and give each other compliments.

So instead of nagging my son when he forgets to tidy up his things again, or unload the dishwasher, or take care of certain things he was supposed to take care of, and thereby emphasizing everything he can't do or doesn't do well, could I start highlighting more what he *can* do, what he does well, what he is good at, what his value is, what his unique strength is?

And that also applies to the rest of our family members, friends, and colleagues.

This way, we can let them know what a blessing they are, and how valuable they are.

And in that way, they will behave even more in accordance with their values, instead of feeling insecure or worthless.

That brings me straight to AGAPE 4 Life.

AGAPE 4 Life was founded to train people in loving.

Loving doesn't come naturally; you have to learn, practice, and train it.

There are so many people who lack love and the knowledge to show their love, to let it grow, and to replenish it.

Loving is so much more than just saying I love you.

Love is a blessing and reaches into the deepest part of your being.

Love grows and multiplies the moment you use it and share it.

And love really, really never stops.

It is time for us to discover how we can replenish love and all the different ways to love.

For you too are made to love.

AGAPE 4 Life was formerly AGAPE Photography.

We have stopped photography and are still in the process of setting up the new activities and training.

And the new website exists, but it is still being worked on as well.

If you want to know more or stay updated, send an email via the contact page and I will get in touch with you.
